Christian Holmes

With over 18 years experience in the Automotive Industry working across a variety of roles, including Business/Sales Manager, F&I Development Manager and Head of Business, Christian has gained vast expertise and knowledge in finance and vehicle sales. This has provided him with an unrivalled understanding of each aspect of motor finance, including how leaders of franchised dealer groups can best grow their business and how DSG can support them. Christian heads up our team of Regional Development Managers, supporting main franchised dealer groups to increase their sales and profitability.

Regional Development Manager - Northern Ireland/ Glasgow Region

David Walker

18 years ago, David started his first role in the automotive industry as a Sales Executive for Skoda. By 2006, David had already completed a Business Managers course with Capital Bank and moved to a local franchised PLC with 7 Sales Executives in his showroom – making his first real step onto the F&I ladder. By 2013, David fulfilled his dream of working for a Multi Funding Provider and really started to enhance his reputation around Northern Ireland, whilst developing many contacts from various groups. David joined DSG in 2017 and he hasn’t looked back since, finance is his passion and David enjoys working with both independent and franchise groups alike. Although employed by DSG, David often considers himself to be part of our dealer partner teams, with his friendly, can do nature, making him all the more endearing within the dealerships. By promoting our product range, coaching showroom personnel and transferring as much of his knowledge as possible, David has proven experience increasing dealer groups finance penetration and delivering outstanding results.

Daniel White

Daniel started his career in the automotive industry in 1999 as a Renault sales executive. His passion and determination to succeed was recognised has been evidence by his progressive development into dealer management roles, spanning a 20+ year career within Mercedes-Benz and BMW franchise dealerships and now DSG. Daniel has extensive automotive knowledge and expertise that can help dealer partners understand how to best grow their business, whilst demonstrating strong DSG relationships to support finance and vehicle sales aspirations. Daniel is an integral member of the DSG main dealer franchise network team, covering the South of England.

Regional Development Manager - East Midlands & Yorkshire Region

Marco Garcea

Italian born Marco has had a passion for cars and sales all of his life. This passion was fuelled when he started his career as a sales executive for Sanderson Motorhouse Lincoln. This ambition soon took him into much larger roles in account management and business development. Whilst in these roles, Marco also developed an interest in finance and banking. After successfully looking after and growing multi-million pound businesses across the UK and internationally, Marcos drive and ambition to pursue this field of work led him into Barclays Partner Finance as an account manager. Here he looked after AM250 dealerships across the North East and Yorkshire. His flare, determination and proven ability led him to grow within the role and he moved up into a new business development position after only 6 short months! Wanting to further his career in motor finance, Marco joined the DSG Group, in the Connected Car Finance team in February 2020, as a Dealer Connector. After helping grow the Connected brand across the Midlands region, in what can only be described as an unusual year, he took the opportunity to move across to DSG.

Regional Development Manager - Central West Region

Adam Sanders

Adam joined DSG in 2017 as Regional Development Manager for the Central West region, covering the Main Dealer Network in the West Midlands down to Bristol, as well as South Wales. Prior to DSG, Adam spent 5 and a half years working within a large Manufacturer owned dealer group, within a range of roles from Sales Executive through to General Sales Manager. Adam always aims to go above and beyond and he demonstrates a strong desire to help others, either within his dealers or within DSG, making him a popular member of the team. Adam has an extensive knowledge of the F&I arena which enables him to develop individuals and teams. Using his abilities he helps them maximise opportunities with DSG and increase their F&I penetration, as well as overall vehicle sales. Mark Joannides

Mark has been in automotive sales & finance management roles for nearly 25 years. Prior to joining DSG in 2016, he spent 5 years in senior group F&I roles with 2 of the top 10 dealer groups in the UK. Here he was overseeing the finance development & compliance across multiple sites and franchise brands, which gave him a unique knowledge of all aspects of sales, motor finance products and processes. This enabled him to see how DSG could help franchise business leaders increase sales and profitability. Using this expertise, Marks consultative approach can offer multiple solutions to senior management to help maximise their F&I performance. Alex Davis

Alex joined DSG in 2015 just as the business relocated it’s head office to Cheadle. He is based in Buckinghamshire and is the Regional Development Manager covering the Central East region. Prior to working for DSG, Alex spent 5 successful years in business development selling F&I software solutions into the automotive market – specifically within AM100 dealer groups. His first automotive role was in 2004 as one of the founders and shareholders of a successful online vehicle retailing platform, that was later sold to Dennis Publishing but still operates today. Alex’s 17 years in the automotive arena put him in a great position to help your business maximise the F&I opportunities and, with his experience in online vehicle retailing and technology, he will certainly deliver a fresh perspective and new ideas to help you improve results.

We can introduce you to a limited number of lenders and their finance products. We are not an independent financial advisor; we will provide details of products available, but no advice or recommendation will be made. You must decide whether the finance product is right for you. We do not charge you a fee for our services. Whichever lender we introduce you to, we will typically receive commission from them (either a fixed fee or a fixed percentage of the amount you borrow). The commission arrangements we have in place vary, depending on how you are introduced to us and with which lender we are able to place you with. When you are introduced to us by a motor retailer, we may be paid a flat fee, regardless of the interest rate you pay, finance product, length of agreement, or amount of finance. We may also be paid a fixed rate of commission, calculated as a percentage of the amount of finance. We will always introduce you to the most suitable finance lender offering you the most appropriate finance product for your needs, and at the best interest rate possible (which is determined by the finance lender) based on the commission we are paid and by your credit profile. The amount of commission we receive and pay, and your credit profile, will impact the amounts you pay under your credit agreement. In both cases, we will pass a proportion of the commission paid to us to the motor retailer that introduced you to us. We may also be paid, and pay the motor retailer, higher commission depending on the type and age of vehicle or based on the finance product you are provided with. In these cases, commission levels vary based on the levels of work required to be undertaken by us and the motor retailer. Whilst we may receive higher levels of commission based on the finance product you are provided with, this is always based on the level of work required in relation to the particular product and we will not seek to secure finance products that are not suitable for your needs.

We may select a lender which is part of our group (Unity Auto Finance Ltd). We will only ever select this particular lender from the panel available to us if it is in your interests and is the most appropriate lender for your particular needs.
